2026 New Taipei City Professional Development Workshop for TFETP Foreign English Teachers, Teaching Assistants and Local Co-Teachers [Track 4 - Innovation Workshop]

1. Participants / Attendance:
(1) All foreign English teachers and teaching assistants employed by New Taipei City elementary schools participating in the Ministry of Education’s Taiwan Foreign
English Teacher Program (TFETP) during the 2026–2027 academic year (hereinafter collectively referred to as “foreign teachers”) are required to attend the workshop.
Group assignments and the list of participating foreign teachers are provided in
【Attachment 1】.
(2) Each participating school is required to designate one local English teacher who co-
teaches or has co-taught with the foreign teacher(s) (hereinafter referred to as a “local co-teacher”) to attend the two-day workshop together with the foreign teacher.
2.Date:
(1) Group 1:
Monday, August 24, to Tuesday, August 25, 2026
The two-day workshop will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. each day.
(2) Group 2:
Wednesday, August 26, to Thursday, August 27, 2026
The two-day workshop will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. each day.
