2026 New Taipei City Pre-Service Training for Native English-Speaking Teachers -Bilingual and Wonderland Programs

1. Participants:
I. All new native English-speaking teachers (NESTs) in the New Taipei City Bilingual Program must attend the training (including those who have not received their pre-service training certificate).
II. New teachers from the Wonderland Program are welcome to attend the training.
III. Returning teachers from the Bilingual or Wonderland program who would like to refresh their understanding of the CLIL methodology are welcome to attend the training. Returning teachers are defined as those who have renewed their contracts during the previous academic year and have already received their pre-service training certificate.
IV. One co-teacher is required to attend on Day 3 (Friday, August 21st).
2. Date: The training takes place over three days: Aug. 19~21, 2026 (Wed., Thurs., Fri.).
3. Location: 5F, Multifunction Classroom, Longfeng Building, Xiude Elementary School (No. 3, Sec. 3, Chongyang Rd., Sanchong Dist., New Taipei City)

4. Notice:
I. The sign-in time is from 8:30 am to 9:00 am. The sign-in desk will accept participants during the first 20 minutes after the start of the course.
II. Those who do not sign in on time for each session will be deemed absent and no certificate will be issued.
III. A laptop computer or another electronic device to create a CLIL lesson document is needed on Day 2 (Thursday, August 20th) of Pre-Service training.
IV. If available, bring the curriculum map/framework with relevant subject performance and content indicators provided by your school.
